Dimension Energy is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Analyst / Performance Engineering Analyst who will monitor and manage a growing portfolio of community solar assets operating across the country. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations

- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline required (engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics)
- Strong computational and analytical skills; high attention to detail

- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated to autonomously contribute to a collaborative team
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn a variety of software tools
- Basic understanding of electrical fundamentals and ability to understand engineering drawing sets and other technical documents.
- Utilize provided software platform to monitor remote solar sites for alarms and downtime events
- Perform data analysis to identify causes of downtime and underperformance
- Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of these events with third-party electrical contractors across the country.
- Confirm issues are corrected and collect field notes to enter into Dimension’s system of record.
- Work with internal asset management team to ensure appropriate decisions are made to maximize revenue and operate sites to the highest standard possible.
- Create and automate site performance reports that include adjustments for weather and maintenance events
- Develop tools for the team to use to identify site and equipment underperformance in an automated fashion.
- Adjust alarm strategy to prevent recurring false alarms and to detect issues not currently captured
- Assist with onboarding and commissioning of new sites onto software systems
- Create and follow protocols to safely remotely restore equipment
- Assist with spare parts strategy and analysis to inform equipment selection on future sites
- Review and approve invoices from maintenance contractors
- Assist with contracting maintenance partners
