Mueller Refrigeration has an immediate opening for a PC-Windows Administrator who is skilled at provisioning, installing/configuring, maintaining and supporting Windows systems hardware and software, and related infrastructure. This position will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This position works closely with other Mueller Administrators (Network, Windows, UNIX, and PC) to assure the integrity of systems and proper utilization of policies and best practices.
Provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, system monitoring, and problem resolution for clients.
- Diagnose hardware, software, and network problems.
- Replace defective components as needed.
- Install and maintain computer hardware, system software, application software, licenses and support agreements.
- Install and maintain secondary hardware (cabling, switches, hubs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as patching and upgrading of computer systems, and maintaining backups.
- Manage the IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Work with manufacturing to integrate technology into shop floor, and effectively assist manufacturing.
- Identify, communicate, and assist in remediating problems while working with other administrators.
- Experience with administration of Windows server operating systems (2019 and 2022)
- Experience with administration of Windows computer operating systems (i.e. Windows 10 thru Windows 11)
- Comp TIA A+ and Net+ Certifications, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate recommended.- Proficient with a variety of Intel based desktops, laptops and Cisco network hardware
- Proficient in the understanding and management of Active Directory.
- Familiarity with database mgmt, webpage development, and VoIP are a plus.
- Proficient in the understanding and management of file servers, permissions, and security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be disciplined and motivated to work independently, and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Must be service focused, and willing to put in extra effort when required.
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
