Position Summary: The PC Technician is a member of the IT Operations team, responsible for supporting end-user computing for all business units and locations. Responsibilities include responding to service requests and incidents, configuring and maintaining computer systems, and participating in IT projects that enhance user productivity. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, excellent customer service, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end support for computers and mobile devices, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Respond to and resolve IT service requests and incidents with urgency and professionalism.
- Deploy and manage computer equipment (Windows), mobile devices (iOS), and software applications.
- Utilize service desk software (e.g., Freshservice) to track and manage support tickets.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve and escalate technical challenges.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify and address root causes.
- Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and software assets.
- Participate in IT-related projects and initiatives, contributing technical expertise.
- Ensure systems adhere to company security policies and compliance standards.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills And Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365.
- Experience with IT asset management and ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced IT service environment.
- Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting engineering software tools.
- Self-driven, accountable, and committed to service excellence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.- Experience supporting global IT environments and remote locations. Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools.
