JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a role where you will work on a busy and rewarding team with interactions with suppliers, as well as many different business areas within Canadian Natural, to ensure the most efficient management of supplier data, invoices and payments? We are hiring! The main responsibility of the Payables Accountant – Address Book Administrator is to manage the address book supplier setup and update process in EnterpriseOne for the purpose of initiating purchases, receiving invoices and issuing payments for all Canadian operations.

Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

•

Key Accountabilities

•

Validate supplier requests for new setup and updates to existing information are accurate based on supporting documentation and in compliance with our corporate guidelines

•

Set up and update all supplier information in EnterpriseOne

•

Responsible for supplier maintenance to downstream applications like Maximo and OpenInvoice

•

Analyze changes in corporate structure to identify downstream impacts to Maximo (our procure to pay application) and OpenInvoice (electronic invoice workflow application) and Ivalua (our contract management system)

•

Management of all banking information for our suppliers for electronic funds transfer

•

Responsible for responding to cybersecurity issues with suppliers and with the Security Team

•

Project work as assigned

What You Bring To The Role

•

1+ years of oil and gas accounting is preferred

•

Post-Secondary education in Accounting is preferred

•

Knowledge in Data Processing, Excel, and EnterpriseOne (asset)

•

You will demonstrate effective communication, organizational and team work skills
