The Hamptons Home Design, a leader in innovative and bespoke design solutions, seeks an exceptional Part-Time Retail Associate to join our downtown studio for a limited engagement. This temporary role, spanning May 26 to August 4, 2025, offers a unique opportunity to represent our brand and engage with discerning clientele during a high-profile summer season. We are looking for a poised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
•Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable in-studio experience.
•Showcase our curated collection of design products, articulating their unique craftsmanship and aesthetic value.
•Maintain the studio’s pristine presentation, including product displays and inventory organization.
•Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
•Collaborate with the design team to support pop-up events and client consultations.
•Provide feedback on client preferences to inform future design offerings.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in retail, hospitality, or client-facing roles, ideally within a creative or design-focused environment.
•Hands-on approach to tasks, with a proactive attitude toward maintaining studio operations and client engagement.
•Adaptability to dynamic daily priorities, thriving in an environment with evolving schedules and responsibilities.
•Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey the firm’s design philosophy to clients.
•Keen attention to detail and a natural affinity for aesthetics.
•Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic inventory management.
•Availability for the full duration of the role (May 26 – August 4, 2025), with flexibility for occasional weekend shifts.
