Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks, including managing multi-line phone systems, data entry, and calendar management. The Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations and maintaining a welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do (Request Job Description for list of full job duties):
- Receptionist position is part-time Monday through Friday from 12:30p.m.-5:30p.m.; Salary range is $19.35-$24.46 (starting salary is dependent upon qualifications).
- Greet incoming customers, determine their needs, and direct them to the right staff or department.
- Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system; take and deliver messages.
- Provide clerical support including typing, filing, data entry, faxing and scanning.
- Assist with electronic filing systems and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality while ensuring a professional and positive work atmosphere.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (or significant related experience).
- One year of office/receptionist experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized and adapt to last-minute changes.
- Comfort working with diverse populations and across socio-economic and cultural differences.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
