Outside Sales Representative – Propane & Refined Fuels
Location: Iron Range Region (primary office: Virginia, MN)
Company Compensation: $50,000 – $90,000/year (base + uncapped commission) Job
If you’re a natural closer who thrives on building relationships, hunting for new business, and hitting big goals, this role is for you. Superior Fuel, one of the last locally owned propane and fuel providers in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, is looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our commercial customer base on the Iron Range.
You’ll focus on selling propane, diesel, and gasoline, while also educating customers on fuel systems, proper tank maintenance, and best practices. This is a customer-facing, travel-heavy role where every day is different—and your impact is direct.
· Lead development through inquiry communication and ongoing relationship building to fill/maintain a customer pipeline
· Generate new business through in-person sales calls and territory travel
· Perform field tests and educate customers on fuel storage and safety
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service and support
· Track activity and results in CRM software
· Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals prioritizing new commercial sales
· 1+ year of sales experience (B2B preferred)
· Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently
· Candidate must live in the Iron Range Region (Virginia, MN office is primary hub; residence in Virginia not required)
