Role Description

As an OT Business Engagement Specialist, you will act as a critical liaison between the Operations Technology (OT) team and key business stakeholders. Your day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, enabling collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, and supporting the development and implementation of OT solutions. You will work on-site in Ajax, ON, in a fast-paced environment, focusing on improving workflows, systems integration, and stakeholder satisfaction. This is a full-time position that requires deep engagement across departments to drive technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, communication, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

- Experience in project management or business analysis, including the ability to manage deliverables, timelines, and expectations

- Knowledge of Operations Technology practices, systems integration, and workflows

- Skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and identifying innovative solutions

- Familiarity with energy industry operations and a strong understanding of related systems, technologies, and standards

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- Proficiency in working collaboratively in cross-functional team environments

- Technical certifications or familiarity with regulatory frameworks for energy or utilities is an asset
