is seeking an experienced and driven
Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering Managerto lead, develop, and enhance our fiber engineering team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing both onshore and offshore engineering teams, overseeing strategic partnerships, and ensuring top-quality fiber network designs.
Responsibilities:
Requirements- Minimum of 7 years of progressive telecommunications engineering experience, specifically focused on fiber optic network design;
- At least 3 years in engineering management or supervisory roles, demonstrating successful team-building and leadership;
- Proven proficiency with industry-standard tools, including IQGeo, ARAMIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, and AutoCAD;
- Solid understanding of fiber optic network construction methodologies, including aerial, buried, underground, and associated permitting requirements;
- Strong grasp of telecom industry standards, regulatory compliance, and engineering best practices including a full grasp of NESC compliance;
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and client demands;
- Advanced knowledge of OSP concepts, network architecture diversity, and permitting and compliance standards and codes;
Flexibility for minimal travel (<10%) to support project initiatives and client interactions
