Position Specific Description

Join our Origination Structuring team to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy project development, contract structuring, and execution. Work with cross-functional teams on strategic projects while learning about renewable energy finance and energy markets.

What You'll Do

- Support pricing, structuring, and analysis of power purchase agreements (PPAs) and financing agreements

- Assist with financial modeling, risk assessment, and benchmarking efforts

- Conduct market research on renewable energy opportunities and trends

- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project execution

- Learn about regulatory compliance and the complete project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

- Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Economics, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with interest in financial modeling

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Interest in renewable energy markets, energy storage, or sustainability

- Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytical tools

- Coursework or projects related to finance, energy markets, or renewable energy

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Assists department with assigned projects

- Completes challenging projects and assignments

- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship

- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High school grad / GED

- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program

- Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
