As an Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Specialist at Irving Oil you will be leading the planning, development, delivery, and sustainment of people strategies to support the achievement of business goals. Collaborating closely with business leaders and Program/Project Managers, you will leverage your expertise in Human Resources and Change Management, developing strategic plans to transition from current to future state.

Your Responsibilities:
Change Management Plans and Deliverables:
•Create strategic change management plans that often span multiple projects or workstreams, while aligning with executive sponsors and senior leaders
•Develop change management deliverables such as stakeholder and impact assessments, training programs, and communication materials to support organizational change
Expert Guidance:
•Provide specialized advice on designing, implementing, and managing people-centered strategies, plans, and processes
•Work closely with leaders and Program/Project Managers to develop and implement strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and business performance
•Act as an internal consultant and trusted thought partner to senior leaders, helping to identify and implement people strategies to address business challenges
•Assess the current state of the business and develop strategic people plans to advance objectives, while considering existing business conditions and realities
Your Skills:
•Business Acumen: Understanding of business initiatives and how people strategies can support them
•Expertise in Organizational Development and Design: Demonstrate knowledge of principles, processes, and methodologies related to organizational development and design
•Proficiency in Change Management: Possess a thorough understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
•Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance people processes and streamline workflows to reduce inefficiencies
•Task Prioritization and Execution: Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments
•Organizational Analysis: Analyze organizational structures, processes, and ways of working to recommend and implement solutions that optimize performance
•Effective Communication: Communicate recommendations clearly and effectively to senior leaders
•Ability to Navigate Ambiguity: Demonstrate proficiency in working effectively through situations where guidelines, procedures, and processes are not clearly defined, ensuring successful outcomes despite uncertainty
Your Experience:
•5 to 10 years of experience in leading the design, delivery and sustainment of people strategies to support organizational goals
•Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
