Organics Extractions Analyst

to join our team in

Kilgore, TX

. In this role, you’ll focus on preparing soil and water samples for analysis, performing organic extractions and concentrations using established lab protocols. What You’ll Do

•

Prepare environmental samples (soil and water) for organic analysis following established protocols;

•

Assist in the preparation of reagents and spiking solutions;

•

Accurately document all preparatory procedures in accordance with laboratory requirements;

•

Perform all tasks within defined QA/QC parameters and meet required turnaround times;

•

Conduct gravimetric determinations with precision and consistency;

•

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times;

•

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approved methodologies without deviation;

•

Generate accurate, high-quality data to support analytical results;

•

Support routine lab operations, including glassware cleaning and sample disposal as needed;

•

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit

•

High school diploma or equivalent required;

•

Previous hands-on experience within a laboratory setting preferred but not required;

•

Proficient in Windows-based computer systems and general software applications;

•

Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain turnaround time requirements;

•

Ability to perform effectively under pressure from high sample volumes and time constraints;

•

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively;

•

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Your Schedule and The Fine Print
