Position: Order Entry/Scheduling 1
Location: Dispatch (Palm St office), also possible work from plants or from home
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary. Overtime, weekend work and nights may be required
Base Pay Rate: $20.00
Eligible for Bonuses/ Profit share: Perfect attendance Bonus, Performance Bonus,
Reports to: Dispatch Manager, dispatch Lead
Job Responsibilities:
•Maintain a positive attitude in a stressful environment.
•Be open and adjustable to feedback from coworkers and management
•Employees are expected to pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the role
•Communicate with internal and external customers.
•Operate the phoneware system (unless an emergency use recorded line for all business calls)
•Utilize active listening skills on calls to figure out the customers' needs
•Work with teammates and management to fill the customers’ needs
•Operate Jonel to process and double check Wallcon orders
•Enter Wallcon orders received via email
•Correspond with customers via phone and email for order confirmation or clarification.
•Double check orders for accuracy
•Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce stress of last-minute schedule changes
•Demonstrate strong time management skills by efficiently prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
•Work to obtain general concrete knowledge on slumps, placement types, and the 90-minute rule
•Training and mentoring of others team members who are in roles that you have performed or are performing currently
•Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
•Safety regulations, including company specific, local, and federal.

Qualifications:
•1 Year ready mix dispatch experience
•High school diploma/GED needed
•Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of technology including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Windows and the Jonel Suite of Products
•Skilled in Data Entry and Typing
•Capable of performing high-volume data entry with meticulous attention to detail and efficient typing abilities, ensuring error-free and prompt completion of tasks.
•Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills along with a customer focused philosophy
•Proficient with computers
•Bilingual language with Spanish a plus
Working Conditions:
•Sitting for extended periods of time, extended screen time, heavy phone use and data entry
Physical Requirements:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear, to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
Requirements:
•Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area
•Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
•Attention to detail is required
•Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
•Positive attitude in stressful situations
•Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
