Turnkey Modular Systems Inc. (TKMS) is a custom fabricator with an in-house team of professionals dedicated to the engineering, design, fabrication and delivery of Integrated Process Modular Systems.

Our services include Preliminary and Detailed Process Design, 3-D Modeling, Modular Construction, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Installation, Start-Up and Commissioning.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Execute Orbital Welding, various documentation activities and scribing on spools as required to assist in construction and fabrication of Stainless-Steel piping systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Comply with and promote awareness of the Turnkey Modular Systems' Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures.

· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to execute Orbital Weld of piping systems, equipment tie-ins and piping system repairs.

· Must be capable of passing certification on weld procedures as required.

· Set up orbital welding equipment as needed according to specifications.

· Weld spools as per drawing and quality requirements.

· Keep track of all weld coupons. These coupons are used to validate that welding machines are working properly daily.

· Complete, in a legible manner, all weld tally sheets and weld logs.

· Scribe all welder numbers and dates on each welded spool.

· Transport all completed spools to the polishing department.

· Organize daily tasks and follow the Lead requests to ensure production needs are met.

· Assist, when necessary, other disciplines, e.g., other fitters, welders, electricians, testing, etc.

· Take part in developmental and training programs.

· Support Turnkey Modular Systems plans, goals, and objectives.

· Participate with the team to implement continuous improvement activities.

· Any other activities required as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have previous Orbital welding experience.

· Experience with Orbital weld documentation.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Experience with Biotech/Pharma equipment or piping systems is a plus.

· Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

· Team player with organizational skills.

· Ability to lift or move heavy products.

· Basic to intermediate computer skills.

· Satisfactory penmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
