Operations Engineer
Are you a problem-solver with a passion for driving operational excellence? We’re looking for an experienced Operations Engineer to provide critical technical support to our plant operations teams and lead front-end engineering development for capital projects. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to cross-functional and cross-site initiatives, often taking the lead on high-profile projects that shape the future of Mosaic’s operations. What you’ll do?
- Provide front-end engineering development of capital projects including planning, identifying business objectives, identifying, and evaluating viable options, preliminary design development, and preliminary economic and risk mitigation evaluation.
- Provide plant process engineering support to operations group including plant optimization, troubleshooting, efficiency improvement, problem solving, and problem prevention.
- Leverage resources and expertise across plant sites to enhance operational performance.
- Responsible for commissioning and start-up support for assigned projects.
- Support current business initiatives. Typical initiatives include specific problem-solving projects or improvement activities involving multiple sites.
- Ensure site safety and environmental standards are being followed through safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours.
- Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
- Project Managment Experience with the ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, PI/OSISoft products or similar data historian, added benefit if the experience is with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Primavera (or similar software) experience
- Competent in understanding and translating data analytics
- SAP/Maximo application experience preferred- 0+ years of related experience
- Experience in related co-op or internship is preferred
- Demonstrated active team participation.
- Experience leading teams and facilitating groups is preferred.- 2+ years or more of related experience. - Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
- 4+ years or more of related experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in multi team roles.
