YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be part of the Underground Mine Operations department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
•Coordination & Integration:
+ Act as a central point of contact for operational readiness activities, coordinating efforts between Safety, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Geology and other relevant departments
+ Facilitate regular meetings and workshops to ensure alignment, track progress, and resolve inter-departmental dependencies related to operational readiness
+ Assist in the development and communication of integrated operational readiness plans and schedules
•Documentation & Tracking:
+ Maintain and track all operational readiness action items, ensuring clear ownership and deadlines are established and met
+ Manage and organize all operational readiness documentation, including procedures, training materials, checklists, and commissioning records
+ Prepare and distribute regular progress reports and updates on operational readiness status to relevant stakeholders
+ Support &
Implementation:
+ Support the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), and emergency response plans for underground operations
+ Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating the development and delivery of training programs for the underground workforce
+ Help coordinate the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of underground equipment and infrastructure
+ Facilitate the collection of data and information required for operational readiness metrics and KPIs
•Problem Solving & Communication:
+ Identify potential efficiencies between departments related to operational readiness and assist in finding collaborative solutions
+ Ensure effective and timely communication flow between all stakeholders involved in the readiness process
+ Contribute to a proactive and collaborative safety culture during all readiness activities
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
•Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related experience are assets
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a coordination, project support, or administrative role within a mining, heavy industrial, or construction environment
•The ability to identify and hold departments accountable for timelines
•Exposure to underground mining operations is a strong asset
•Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders in a complex environment
•Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Your Work Schedule:
•Schedule: 5 days of work followed by 2 days off and 4 days of work followed by 3 days off at our Detour Lake mine site.
•Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
