EthosEnergy is currently seeking an O&M Student Intern for our Crockett, CA facility. This position will allow a student with an interest in the power generation industry to learn and experience all aspects of power plant operation.

Job Responsibilities

•

Assist plant personnel in day to day plant operations. This may include but is not limited to chemical offloads, plant evolutions, receiving of materials and equipment inspections.

•

Assist the Instrumentation and Electrical Technician as needed. This may include but not limited to troubleshooting, calibration of instrumentation and maintaining of analyzers.

•

Assist Operations and Maintenance Supervisors and Manager as needed. This may include but not limited to gathering of information from technical manuals for vendors, updating of piping and instrumentation diagrams to reflect current system conditions, and creating spreadsheets to convey information to outside sources.

•

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Knowledge

•

Willingness to work in the field in a “hands on” environment.

•

Good understanding of basic engineering practices.

•

Good problem solving and analytical abilities.

•

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•

Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience

•

Completion of sophomore year of classes in an engineering field.

•

GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Education Requirements

•

Completion of sophomore year of classes in an engineering field.

•

GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Physical Requirements

•

Able to lift 30lbs.

•

Able to work at heights

•

Able to work in Hot and Cold environments.

What We Offer

•

Pay Range for this position is $25.00 per hour
