Description:
This position will be responsible for directing and service customer call-ins and utilize computer based ticketing system. The successful candidate for this position needs to multi-task, problem solve and adjust from a daily routine are all musts. Must be willing to work flexible hours and work days (nights and weekends as required).
Requirements:
Position Duties
•Answer and direct phone calls
•Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
•Maintain a filing system
•Provide general support to visitors
•Responsible for checking equipment leaving and entering the yard and doing computerized delivery tickets on such equipment
•Responsible for answering the phone and talking directly to customer so to receive information concerning the job
•Ensure accurate dispatching records, proper email documentation is sent to appropriate vendors for billing/tracking purposes
•Maintain accountability of company owned equipment
•Maintain a dispatch log of all equipment movements
•Work as a liaison between accounting and the field
•Other duties as assigned
Competencies Required for Effective Performance
•Excellent telephone etiquette skills
•Strong computer skills in Excel, Outlook, and other general office equipment
•RTMS experience is a Plus
•Ability to multitask such as talking on the phone while typing data in the computer or searching customer information
•Safety and service oriented
•Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
Work Environment
•Typically works in a moderately noisy environment
•Routine exposure to the elements, including working outdoors and in a non-climate controlled building
Education
•High School Diploma or GED
