GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking a qualified Oilfield Electrician for a full-time position based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a dynamic oilfield environment. This role offers stable, year-round work with opportunities for professional growth.Responsibilities:* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an oilfield setting.
•Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
•Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
•Follow all safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
•Coordinate with other trades and site personnel to complete work efficiently.
•Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications:* Journeyman Electrician certification.
•3–5 years of experience in an industrial or oilfield setting.
•Solid understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and oilfield safety practices.
•Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:* Experience in oilfield production or plant operations.
•Familiarity with PLCs and automated control systems.
•Previous work in high-voltage or hazardous locations considered an asset.
Work Environment:* Outdoor industrial/oilfield settings with exposure to changing weather conditions.
•Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
