Oil Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting oil to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid commercial driver’s license, Hazmat Endorsement and updated DOT Medical Card. Previous heating oil delivery experience is a must. The Delivery Driver will play a critical role in the efficient movement of oil and complete deliveries in a timely fashion.

Duties

- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles

- Load oil at rack and return loading ticket to office

- Follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at customer locations.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.

- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules or issues.

- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving activities.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type

- Proven experience in truck driving, including oil delivery

- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely.

- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial trucks and hazmat handling

- Excellent driving record with no recent violations or accidents.

- Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and team members.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
