Overview
Responsible for ensuring welding services projects and customers are managed in a highly professional and customer-focused way in compliance with customer requirements and T.D. Williamson (TDW) standards, from first client inquiry until successful job completion; including scope, estimate, quote, field execution, invoice, and final reporting in efforts to obtain project success.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Project Lifecycle Management:
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial quoting through to final invoicing and project closeout.
• Oversee budgeting, quoting and proposal development, ensuring deliverables are complete, accurate, and address potential challenges or undefined terms .
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and schedule resources, including welders, inspectors, helpers, and various contractors, to meet project requirements .
• Coordinate the purchase, storage, shipping and use of repair sleeve products.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Be available to respond to client calls and address urgent project-related issues outside of regular business hours, including weekends, as required.
• Proactively anticipate client needs and provide solutions.
Quality Control & Safety:
• Ensure all projects adhere to customer and TDW quality control standards and safety requirements.
• Support in addressing and resolving any quality or safety issues that arise.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related field and a minimum of three (3) years of project management experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of pipeline operations and integrity programs preferred.
• Knowledge of in-service welding strongly preferred
• Knowledge of CSA and ASME pipeline codes and regulations.
• Experience with purchasing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SalesForce preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.
• Able to travel and work in the USA
