· Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
· Calculate dimensions and tolerance using knowledge of mathematics
· Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and grinders
· Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized advanced variation tools.
· Previous experience in a machine shop a plus
· Stand on your feet for 8 or more hours at a time
· Frequently required to lift and/or more 50 pounds & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure
· Ability to read and interpret blue prints & micrometers is a MUST
· Must be able to work a weekend rotation
· Must be able to work overtime if needed
· Must be able to train on a 1st shift and move to 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm – 1:00am plus rotating weekends)
