Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

This position is for a technical chemistry position who will support the station in chemistry program implementation during normal and off normal periods. This is an entry level position for technical development to achieving full competency in their respective discipline, which includes plant walkdowns, and participation in plant troubleshooting plans. Attend training. General knowledge of environmental requirements. General knowledge of business practices including producing and maintaining budgets. Demonstrated initiative for improvement. Prepare records and reports. Be capable of recognizing and evaluating out of normal data. Comply with established procedures and with rules of Code of Federal Regulations, Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulatory guides, National Standards, and other regulatory agencies, while still growing in knowledge and skill, they have sufficient maturity to exercise independent judgment on moderately complex projects and assignments. They will be able to analyze data, formulate and contribute to solutions based on the available data. They are working towards becoming subject matter experts within the station and building applicable industry working knowledge and skills. They are building relationships and credibility and providing staff support to management and higher levels of professionals, as needed.
