Assist in the development of the long-term strategic plans and day to day administration of uranium, conversion, enrichment, and fuel fabrication of nuclear fuel procurement and contracting. Develop a solid understanding of the nuclear fuel market fundamentals.
Develop understanding of nuclear fuel markets and factors affecting supply, demand, and price.
Assist in the preparation of Ten-year Fuel Management Plan (FMP) and the Fuel Cost budget.
Perform fuel accounting including enriched uranium cost, and taxes on a detailed fuel ledger Nuclear Fuel In Process System (NFIPS) and by physical location Nuclear Fuel Tracking System (NFTS). Reconcile fuel accounting with General Ledger entries. Prepare monthly fuel amortization calculation.
Monitor fuel projects cost performance vs. budget by analyzing variances and developing recommendations for corrective actions.
Meet with department managers/project managers as necessary to discuss budget variances.
Assist in the bid preparation and evaluation activities for nuclear fuel and related services.
Perform special assignments using knowledge gained through experience and education. Conduct benchmarking studies for business-related issues.
Must participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated. Must support the biennial refueling outage.
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
