We’re looking for a hands-on and driven

NPI Test Engineer

to join our dynamic team as we develop and scale next-generation products for high-volume manufacturing. This role is critical in bridging the gap between engineering development and factory deployment, ensuring a smooth and reliable ramp of new products.

You’ll play a key part in developing test systems, setting up factory test lines, and working with cross-functional teams across the globe. If you're passionate about test automation, continuous improvement, and working on cutting-edge technology, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems at both component and system levels.
Automate recurring processes to improve efficiency and reliability in daily work.
Set up and configure factory test lines, networking, and data collection/reporting systems at global sites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams from different cultures and regions to deliver high-quality manufacturing test solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current processes, identifying gaps, and implementing optimization strategies.
Work closely with Software and Hardware Engineering teams to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Support onsite bring-up of test systems at Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).
Up to 10% (Asia, Mexico, or other manufacturing sites)


Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or test development.
NI LabView and TestStand development experience for high-volume manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language: C#, Python, or C++.
Experience in electronics manufacturing and familiarity with test documentation and complex system design.
High-voltage test and manufacturing experience.
Ability to read schematics, identify test point requirements, and perform Design for Test (DFT) analysis.
Experience working with global operations teams, particularly with CMs/ODMs in Asia or Mexico.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing/test development experience.
Experience with Quality Management tools and methodologies: PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, QRQC.
Clear and consistent communication to management on status updates, issue resolution, improvement initiatives, and process recommendations.

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$160,000.00 - $180,000.00 dependent on level of experience
