The Metal Sorting laborer will grade, purchase, and sort all types of copper, aluminum, brass, steel, etc. This fast-paced role requires efficient multi-tasking to handle customers at a number of platform and truck scales. The buyer will assist in unloading trucks, effectively learn the yard layout, and move metal around on a fork truck. Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment and operator limitations, and safe operating procedures at all times. A high level of customer service and a willingness to learn about various metals and their value are a must. Some computer skills are needed to operate buying software. Performs other duties as directed by management.

Work Hours:* Monday through Saturday with a 40+ hour work week, overtime may be required as scheduled.
