Job Summary:
Positioned between sales management and the team members, the Team Leader serves both groups to support the company's overall sales objectives. The Team Leader is to coach and mentor the assigned team members to help increase their sales while continuing to sell at a high level themselves. With a persistent eye on the sales results, the Team Leader is expected to train, develop, and facilitate sales of team members assigned to guarantee that customers are handled effectively and with attention to detail. The expectation is that the sales team leaders will work directly with their respective team members daily. The Team Leader reports directly to the Sales Manager. The Team Lead will direct the team members to attain everyday sales targets and surpass the expectations of customers. It may happen that the Sales Manager's position may be void in the department that the Team Lead is assigned. When that happens, the Team Leader will be accountable directly to the designated senior position or executive officer.
Job Functions:
- Training new team members of the sales scripts and managing book of business to obtain sales goals.
- Answering questions from team members
Monitoring sales performance and addressing deficiencies when necessary.
- Completing sales reports and other administrative work
- Supporting the sales management team as needed
- Continue to Sell at a high level.
- Ensure team members are adhering to their KPIS to help facilitate their development.
- Work together with team members from other departments to improve efficiency and overall results.
- Give prompt reports on crucial issues to direct senior officer, suggest solutions where obtainable.
- Establish working relationship with Client and other team members.
- Mentor and provide feedback to team members to gain success.
- Offer inspiration and training of team members on how to attain sales targets.
- Assist sales managers to increase sales via training on sales methods.
- Generate action plans to enhance performance and productive capacity of under performing team members with help of sales manager
