Network Engineer

The Opportunity

- Develop and implement LAN/WAN system designs and architectures.

- Coordinate IT and industrial control equipment activities during security assessments.

- Ensure proper use, configuration, and care during security tests.

- Schedule and coordinate security tests within internal factory settings.

- Develop and maintain information security procedures for IT equipment.

- Procure, install, and configure various IT and industrial control equipment.

- Conduct security assessments of customer systems, services, and programs.

- Maintain a deep understanding of IT networking and infrastructure.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.

- Experience with highly technical projects.

- Understanding of technologies like VMWare, switching and routing, DNS, TCP/IP, and Active Directory.

- Knowledge of cyber security policies, including defense in depth strategies.

- Possession of, or ability to obtain, CISSP Certification.

- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
