Job Summary
Load, transport and deliver propane to customers. Complete all aspects of customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
•Follow Company safety standards and report issues.
•Complete pre/post trip inspections on transport vehicle and equipment.
•Understand all facets of propane systems.
•Load and unload propane from transport vehicle.
•Fill customers propane tanks.
•Ensure delivery route is completed efficiently.
•Act as customer service representative and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Collect payments timely and appropriately.
•Respond to customer calls and ensure that customer concerns are resolved promptly and appropriately.
•Proper OOg procedure and documentation
•Obtain and maintain appropriate licensure including:
•Applicable State licenses
Additional
•Assist in setting tanks, tank maintenance, and so forth.
•Assist in sales process as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required
•Two or more years experience in propane or fuel delivery or an associated industry.
•Possess a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement and have an acceptable driving record.
•Strong customer service skills.
•Able to learn company systems and processes.
•Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations.
•Able to learn delivery routes and strong direction acuity.
Preferred
•Trade or technical school (Certificate or diploma) in an applicable field.
•Three or more years experience with propane industry, fuel industry, or transportation industry.
