The primary focus of this role is to support the successful launch and continued growth of new natural gas products - particularly regulators. As a key point of contact, the coordinator manages order entry, customer communication, and daily operations. Core responsibilities include processing purchase orders and returns, responding to phone and email inquiries, verifying part accuracy, and handling the increased activity tied to the expanding product line. This position also works closely with the internal teams to ensure accurate product data, assist with technical questions, and maintain smooth cross-departmental operations.
Responsibilities
•Serve as a key resource for customer inquiries related to product specifications, lead times, pricing, and availability.
•Support the creation, maintenance, and management of quotations for new and existing business.
•Collaborate with field sales personnel through customer visits and technical presentations; periodic travel may be warranted.
•Represent the company at trade shows and industry events; assist with booth coordination and customer engagement as needed.
•Participate in the training of internal staff and field sales representatives on new product offerings and updates.
•Assist with specification work in collaboration with Sales and Engineering teams.
•Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to inform pricing, positioning, and product strategy.
•Maintain clear communication with management and sales teams regarding developments within the natural gas industry.
•Support the development of accurate lead times and demand planning by maintaining up-to-date planning data.
•Maintain and update quote summary reports for internal capacity planning and forecasting.
•Assist with order entry and expedite requests to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
•Act as a liaison for defective material claims, ensuring swift resolution and documentation.
•Provide general customer service support and contribute to special projects as needed.
•Review and confirm part numbers and configurations for accuracy prior to processing regulator orders.
•Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email regarding new regulator purchase orders, lead times, and order status.
•Enter and manage all new purchase orders related to the natural gas regulator product line.
•Cross train and provide support for other products within the Natural Gas product line.
Required Qualifications
•Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
•A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
•A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Education & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
•1–2 years of experience in product management, customer support, or related technical/sales roles.
•Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
