What you'll do as a MXU Coordinator Must be familiar with engineering concepts (e.g. fiber optic cable and structure). Provide administrative and field support for inside path placement projects. Complete all required forms and documents. Knowledge of PC applications and the mechanized support systems Other duties as assigned What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Requires HS diploma or equivalent. Understanding of outside plant facilities, ISP (inside path design) and fiber technologies. Previous Telecommunications experience a must. Knowledge of PC software package tools, including word processing (i.e. Word, Excel). Extensive experience with computers, computer skills and copmuter literacy Knowledge of Telecommunications industry standards Regulations for OSP facilities Aerial or underground construction methods and engineering requirements Government permit requirements OSP facilities, construction techniques and conduit records Easement, right of way and permit documents AutoCAD/Microstation or Geographic Information Systems Fiber optic counts, fiber assignments and splicing schematics Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: operate vehicle, walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, use keyboard and mouse Vision Abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus Occasionally: climb stairs and stand Salary starting at $27.00/hour based on experience Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
