We’re looking for a MRP Planner in our Service Center in New Iberia, LA.- a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

- Tracks Purchase Orders, expedites urgent and late orders, and communicate status accordingly.
- Follow up vendor contact for designated outstanding invoices according to set timelines and log activities & results
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Requisition material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
- Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
- Take part in after-hours call rotation
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in related field
- Tracking purchase orders.
- Provide support to other departments or functions as requested.
- Experience repairing diesel and NG generators and/or diesel engines is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Available to work overtime, travel and on- call rotations.
- Other duties as assigned by duty parts manager
