Moving Truck Driver
Job Summary:
The Moving Truck Driver transports brick and like materials to job sites.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Understands fully how to operate and safely drive boom truck, panel truck, or assigned vehicle.
•Drives vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
•Ensure safe transportation of goods, including ensuring goods are properly secured in the truck to prevent damage and/or injury.
•Communicate with dispatch/scheduler as needed.
•Inspect vehicle before and after each trip
•Confirm goods are delivered to correct location and receive signed documentation of delivery as needed.
•Ensure cleanliness of vehicle, inside and out.
•Follow delivery schedule.
•Maintain and service vehicle as needed. Report any maintenance needs to the shop.
•Transports brick and like materials to job sites in various locations.
•Navigates various types of locations and terrains, including, but not limited to, neighborhoods, highways, commercial areas and parking lots, and more.
•Ability to help load and unload truck as needed.
•Ability to have extreme focus on road and safety.
•Abides by all traffic laws.
•Abides by company, local, state, and federal regulations.
•Operates machinery for loading and unloading as needed.
•Obeys and upholds all safety regulations as assigned by Safety Manager, Director of Safety, and all governing bodies such as OSHA.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
•Commercial Driver’s License A preferred.
•CDL without manual transmission restrictions preferred.
•DOT card clearance required.
•Two years of related experience required.
•Clean driving record required.
Physical Requirements:
•Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
•Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions, unless safety dictates otherwise.
•Must be able to sit and drive up to eight hours per day.
•Must be able to work some Saturdays and at night, when needed.
