Job Overview

Benchmark Utility Services is looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of . This role is essential in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. The will work closely with various teams to ensure adherence to contracts and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

- Set Up and Manage Temporary Work Zones

- Supervise Traffic Control Crews

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and MOT policies

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control, addressing any issues that arise promptly

- Act as liaison between construction crews, utility companies, and local agencies

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including OSHA guidelines.

- Monitor and Maintain Traffic Flow

- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

- Maintain thorough documentation of project activities, changes, and communications.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.

- Prior traffic control or road construction experience required.

- Experience using construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.

- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

- Previous experience in supervising teams on construction sites is preferred.

- Knowledge of quality control measures within the construction industry is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
