Primary responsibilities include operating various types of mining equipment in a safe manner. Reports to the Quarry/Crushing Superintendent. Essential Requirements

- Wear all required safety equipment including but not limited to hardhats, safety glasses, safety harness, ear plugs, dust mask and gloves

- Capable of handling constant conditions associated with operating a loader

- Physically capable of climbing up and down, above, inside and under equipment

- Capable of repetitious arm, hand and leg motion

- Stand or sit for considerable amounts of time

- Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds properly

- Work in inclement weather when required or assigned

- Required and predictable attendance

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Ability to operate 100 ton haul trucks accurately and work in all site areas efficiently

- Knowledge of the function of mobile equipment instruments

- Ability to observe instruments for warning of any malfunctions or unsafe operating conditions

- Ability to read, write and communicate clearly for documentation

- Ability to work various shifts as needed including overtime, weekends, holidays and evenings

Duties and Responsibilities

- Know and follow all Company safety procedures and policies with or without supervision

- Operate equipment in a safe manner

- Complete pre/post daily inspections

- Start up and shut down equipment in a proper sequence per safety instructions

- Maintain and clean equipment as required

- Maintain daily operating reports as required

- Understand and follow daily production and safety reports

- Perform other assigned work incidental to this classification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
