The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Team Member is responsible for performing inspections, services, repairs, and major rebuilds on all forms of mobile equipment. The position requires the ability to do preventive and predictive maintenance. Accurate record keeping and extensive use of OEM manuals are required. Team Member will be required to provide their own tool set.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- High school diploma

- Equivalent experience or Degree in Diesel Mechanics

- Experience with repairing trucks, heavy equipment and utility vehicles

- Ability to operate and train operators required

- CDL air brake license a plus

- Basic computer skills required

- Strong judgment and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of basic stick/wire feed welding

- Knowledge of 12 and 24 volt electrical systems

Job Specific

- Gather any or all write-ups, look for pre-shift inspections

- Checklist of duties

- Area inspection of work area daily – 1st

- Monthly hour meter inspections of mobile equipment

- Helps to count inventory, assists in inventory management

- Assisting associates when needed with a mobile equipment problem
