Mechanical Engineer III

Job Location: 4201 W. Pima Mine Road, Sahuarita, AZ 85629

Job Duties: Develop, design, and engineer specifications and scopes of work for mechanical, process and structural engineering projects. Inspection of structural components, installation of new equipment review of maintenance manuals. Provide technical support to all departments within the copper processing plant as directed by the plant engineering manager. Utilize Solid Works, AutoCAD, and other computer-aided drafting software to draft engineering blueprints. Maintain and interpret operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Provide general engineering support to operations for mining plant equipment. Review internal and external developed engineering drawings. Plan development of construction and installation of materials, components and structures.

Requirements:

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in mechanical engineering, or related field. 2 years of related experience. Experience working with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, or graphics) in its most difficult phases. Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Experience defining problems, collecting data, establish facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Knowledge of statistical process control, structural analysis, strength of material, fluids and pumps. Proficient with SAP, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Auto Cad, and Solid Works. Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Experience writing technical reports, letters, memos and capital appropriation requests.
