Foran Mining Corporation (TSX:FOM) is a forward-thinking mining company redefining the industry. We are seeking multiple Miner 2 – Construction Miners to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

As part of the Underground Development Team, this position works on surface and operates heavy machinery and equipment for excavation, grading, and land preparation for construction projects on surface. Construction Miners are involved in various projects such as road construction, building foundations, landscaping, and surface mining operations. They use equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, graders, and loaders to move soil, rocks, and other materials to create level surfaces or excavate areas for construction purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, and earthmoving activities.

- Transport materials (soil, rock, aggregates) across construction areas.

- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, grading land, and creating level surfaces

- Perform excavations for construction projects, such as basements, trenches, and foundations.

- Fill excavated areas with suitable materials and compact the soil or aggregates

- Dig trenches for utilities, drainage systems, or structural foundations.

- Assist in demolition and debris removal tasks as needed.

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment.

- Follow all safety regulations and site-specific protocols.

- Collaborate with other crew members, supervisors, and project managers.

- Interpret blueprints and site plans to ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Monitor progress and troubleshoot construction-related challenges.

- Complete tasks on time and according to project quality standards.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED.

- Minimum of 4 years experience in an Underground Mine Environment.

- Several years of experience in construction, preferably in mining or heavy industrial construction.

- Ability to obtain a Blasting certification or license, in accordance with local and national regulations.

- Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and best practices.

- Proficiency in operating construction equipment and machinery.

- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

- Commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
