SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Mine Engineer Co-op Intern.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mine Engineering, the Mine Engineer Co-op Intern, has been developed to provide the successful candidate a diverse skill set that allows them to support with various mine-engineering positions (planning and scheduling, surveying, ventilation, ground control, projects, etc.). They are responsible for creating, designing, and developing best practices regarding mining engineering processes, procedures, and practices to support achievement of targets. They will role model a safety program that promotes a culture of safety and health of all employees working in and or with the Technical Services Department.

As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must possess a security screening document or equivalent document as defined by The Mines Regulations, 2018*. The successful candidate will be required to maintain their security screening document or equivalent document throughout their employment at their own expense and will be required to provide confirmation of same and advise the employer of any changes to, revocation of or suspension of their security screening document during the term of their employment.

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
