About This Job

Job Description

Responsibilities include working on assigned projects with direct oversight by assigned mentor while performing inspection, repair, installation, and servicing of stationary and mobile equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment ensuring the work is performed in accordance with the OJT guide and all relevant codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor perform inspection, repair, installation and servicing of stationary and mobile equipment.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, cables, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, and air conditioners.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor examine mechanical equipment to diagnose issues.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor disassembles machinery and repairs or replaces broken parts.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary, including cleaning and lubrication of parts.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor orders replacement parts.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor inspects completed repairs.

•

In a training capacity and under the guidance of an OJT monitor/mentor requisitions new parts and equipment.

•

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•

High School Graduate or GED equivalency

•

Basic technical and mechanical knowledge

•

Basic computer and MS office suite software knowledge

•

Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic

•

Fluency in spoken and written English
