Position Overview: Loenbro Industrial Services Group is seeking to hire experienced Millwrights for our North Dakota jobsite.
As a Millwright, you will install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to specifications. Millwrights use precision tools and processes to ensure that the machinery is installed and working correctly and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines. Job Duties:
•Work with industry-specific and complex precision machines, including but not limited to exhaust fans, generators, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, compressors, etc.
•Plan, inspect, verify, and document the scope of work.
•Use precision leveling and alignment tools to measure angles, material thickness, and small distances with calipers, squares, micrometers, optical instruments, and other tools.
•Fit bearings, align gears and wheels, attach motors, and connect belts according to manufacturer’s blueprints and drawings.
•Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
•Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, exhaust fan blades, and pump systems.
•Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten machinery to foundations or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
•Operate engine lathes, grinders, and files.
•May construct foundations for machinery.
•Fabricate and install parts, equipment, and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling, and/or welding.
•Unload, inspect, move, and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
•Use rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls, and come-alongs to move equipment/materials into place.
•Conduct preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts.
•Follow directions from the supervisor.
•Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Skill/Qualifications:
•Must have experience with industrial machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.
•Must know how to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering specifications, and understand how to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures.
•Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
•Must have all Journeyman Precision Millwright hand tools.
•Minimum 4-5 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience.
•Minimum of 3 years of Millwright experience.
•Must have reliable transportation.
Essential Requirements:
•Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience.
•Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and layout tools such as lasers, ultrasonic measuring and alignment tools, plumb bobs, cutting torches, welding machines, hydraulic torch wrenches, hydraulic stud tensioners, soldering guns, and metalworking equipment, including lathes and grinding machines.
•Organization and time management.
•Good problem-solving abilities.
•Good aptitude and manual dexterity
•Knowledge of math concepts, geometry, and layout.
•Demonstrated ability to lead others and provide detailed instructions.
•Ability to work with others – team player.
•Ability to work independently – minimal supervision.
•Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
•Employees are required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting.
•Employees may be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
•Will occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off platforms.
•Must be capable of working outside in the elements, including, but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind; and must be able to work for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours a day.
•Employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) i.e. hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
•Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day.
•Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
•If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability will be required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
