The Manager Infrastructure Special Projects is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operational support of the organization’s hybrid IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud and on-premises environments. This role ensures the optimal performance, security, and scalability of infrastructure services, while aligning with the company’s strategic goals and technology roadmap.

The Manager will oversee a team of skilled engineers and administrators, driving the successful deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, as well as the ongoing management of legacy on-premises systems. With a deep understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure Cloud Platform, combined with proficiency in traditional data center operations, the Manager will play a critical role in modernizing the company’s IT landscape.

Key responsibilities include developing cloud migration strategies, managing infrastructure lifecycle processes, implementing security and compliance standards, and driving continuous improvements through automation and innovation. The Manager Infrastructure Special Projects will work closely with cross-functional teams, including application development, security, and operations, to deliver resilient and efficient infrastructure solutions that support business needs.

Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities

Demonstrated experience in a security role in support of a highly technical, complex environment.

Demonstrated experience with engagement of and partnering with enterprise security stakeholders.

Familiarity generating automated metrics to measure service, program effectiveness and consistency.

Knowledge of operationalizing security requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.

Knowledge of infrastructure and operations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics or other related fields from an accredited university or relevant experience.

Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.

Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
