Metallurgical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable

Metallurgical Lab Technician

to support our materials testing and analysis operations. This role involves

approximately 75% outdoor work

, including manual sample collection and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and an interest in metallurgy and materials science.

What you’ll do?

- Manually collect metal and material samples from field locations using appropriate tools and safety procedures.

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment.

- Conduct plant tests and sampling related to processes within minerals operations.

- The ideal candidate will operate and maintain various laboratory equipment (core washer, flotation machines etc.).

- Perform processing and testing procedures on matrix prospect core samples.

- Knowledge of safety standards in industrial or lab environments.

What You’ll Need

- High School/GED required.

- 1-2 years of Laboratory experience required.

Working Conditions

- Outdoor work approximately 75% of the time.

- Exposure to heat, cold, and industrial environments.

- Physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
