Metal Tester

This Metal Tester position will be on site in Reading, PA.

Schedule: 6:00am- 2:00pm| Weekends as needed| Overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyzing metal with a XRF gun

- Identifying the correct grades for the mill to use

- Must be willing to learn how to safely and correctly use a XRF testing gun

- Will use heavy equipment to deliver metal to the mill such as but not limited to a telehandler and off road dump truck

- Must be able to lift 45lbs.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not required.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery; ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

- Safety Awareness: Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and protocols.

- Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying hours and conditions as needed.
