Metal Printing Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Metal Printing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain advanced metal printers , ensure part quality, and contribute to the production of high-precision metal components. This position plays a key role in delivering innovative parts to the customers of Griffin Armament.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently operate Metal Printing Machinery in accordance with company procedure

- Follow basic quality control protocol

- Load build files, prepare print beds, and manage machine setup based on production requirements.

- Handle and process metal powders safely, including loading, recycling, and disposal per company procedures.

- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize builds.

- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on printers to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing principles, materials, and post-processing techniques.

- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs).

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

- 1–3 years of experience operating metal 3D printers or CNC/machining equipment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
