Superior Contracting & Manufacturing Services Co. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic, employee-owned team. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC, plumbing, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing mechanical construction projects from start to finish.
· Project Planning & Execution: Lead mechanical construction projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
· Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with field supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
· Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving conflicts to avoid delays.
· Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track progress, manage change orders, and ensure cost control measures are effectively implemented.
· Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and outcomes.
· Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding project status, expectations, and issue resolution.
· Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, reports, meeting notes, and close-out materials.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the estimating team to align project scope, budget, and execution plans. Perform material and labor takeoffs as needed to support project validation and scope clarity.
· Continuous Improvement: Contribute to companywide initiatives to improve project delivery processes and promote operational excellence.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance standards in construction.
