We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Integrity Specialist to join our team at our plastics chemical facility in Narrows, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our equipment and systems through comprehensive inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Equipment Inspections: Complete internal and external equipment inspection files to ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Database Management: Review the property database to ensure all reports are up-to-date and no overdue reports need to be entered.
- Inspection and Repair Assistance: Assist with the inspection, development of repair plans, and execution of repairs on equipment and piping.
- Corrective Maintenance Support: Provide support for corrective maintenance activities by conducting necessary inspections.
- WWTP Vessel Inspections: Assist with inspections, repair plans, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of repairs for Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) vessels.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical integrity or a similar role within the chemical or plastics industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment inspection techniques and standards.
- Proficiency in database management and report generation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in mechanical integrity or related areas.
- Experience with WWTP systems and vessel inspections.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
