We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer to be part of a dynamic Reliability Engineering Team. We are particularly interested in a Mechanical Engineer that are passionate about working with mining equipment fleet such as Ultra class trucks, shovels, dozers, graders, excavators, wheel loaders etc. to achieve high availabilities and sustained reliability through continuous improvement, root cause failure analysis, and one-time cost-effective repairs.
This role gives you the opportunity to be at the forefront of our Mining operations, where you will have an immediate impact on the business. You will be directly interfacing with Operations and Maintenance teams to mitigate threats impacting equipment reliability.
Minimum Requirements:* Bachelor’s Degree in the Mechanical Engineering discipline, or equivalentResponsibilities:* Improve existing asset strategies by working closely with maintenance, planners, and operations on reliability issues and failure trends Investigate and perform root-cause analysis of failures
Location and other Key Details:* You will work out of a Syncrude location in Fort McMurray
