DEI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Products and Technology Division. The Products and Technology division is responsible for developing new products, maintaining and improving our established product lines, and providing design support for DEI’s Consulting, Special Projects, and Major Projects groups. Take a look at our website (www.domeng.com) to see examples of the types of equipment and technology we develop.
This role includes a mix of creative problem solving, engineering analysis, component selection, CAD design and drafting, and practical hands-on testing of the systems we build. You will be working alongside our team of design experts to turn ideas into real parts and to find novel solutions for unique challenges. That creative aspect of design pairs with strong engineering fundamentals as you execute the required tasks to conceive, design, procure, assemble, and test custom fabricated components. Mechanical Engineers within the group take ownership of dedicated project(s) to ensure all aspects of hardware design and deployment are executed in accordance with contract requirements and to a level commensurate with the quality the Dominion customer base is used to experiencing. There are even opportunities to travel with the team implementing our equipment in the field.
