Mechanic

Mid Continent Rental is a subsidiary of Kaiser-Francis Oil Company. MCRC rents and maintains Ajax and high-speed compressors in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming. Our main office is in Oklahoma City, OK.

We need a professional individual capable of doing the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

- Generally, understands the processes and systems on how a compressor works.

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly and repairs on Ajax and high-speed compressors (primarily Ariel and Gemini high speed compressors with Caterpillar and Cummins drivers).

- Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of compressor shutdowns and failures.

- Order and stock maintenance and repair parts as needed.

- Complete necessary paperwork/data entry.

- Handle emergency call outs as needed.

- Engage in active and open communications with customer’s field people.

- Have a general understanding of the customers production equipment.

- Understand and comply with all company safety practices, policies and procedures.

- The ability to work in the field largely unsupervised.

- Read, write and speak English.

- Driver’s License/Clean driving record

- Proficient in engine and compressor maintenance.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.

- Knowledge of high speed and/or Ajax compressors

- Basic computer skills

- Must be responsible, diligent, and able to self-motivate and work independently

- Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions

- Ability to work overtime, possibly on weekends and holidays as required. Also, able to be flexible with work schedule

- High School diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
